I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

and work part time at the Simcoe County

District School Board delivering the Kindergarten

Program. I am also a mother to two children, my daughter

is 18 and my son is now 20 years old.

 

My son struggled with reading and writing in grade 1, 2, 3, AND 4 before he was diagnosed with Dyslexia. Then I learned about the Structured Literacy approach and received my training from Martha Kovack, Early Learning Specialist & Dyslexia Interventionist and founder of Sound Readers.  ​

I believe everyone has the right to learn how to read and write, and my goal is to help other children develop their skills so they too can succeed!
